I recently had some time to paint a stool that I brought to Pugsgiving a few weeks ago. The stool is heart shaped and I hand-painted a pug silhouette with a floral collar, it's based off my
pug notepad.

This past weekend we took Sprinkles to the pumpkin patch! It was so much fun taking pictures and letting her sniff around. She was a bit excited, so it hard to take some good photos…but I think Chris did a great job!

Anthropologie will be having their fifth annual
#SitStayLove event at the Orlando Anthropologie at the Mall at Millenia tomorrow, September 21 from 11am-2pm. Sit Stay Love promotes pet adoptions and pet supply drives for local animal shelters. With that being said…Sprinkles and I will be attending this event! If you live in the Orlando area, I hope to see you there! I have been told you can bring you pet and I'm sure their will be some special treats for them too!

I am overjoyed with excitement and delight to introduce a new family member into my home and to the L&P family! Meet Sprinkles! She is my very own pug puppy! She is 10 weeks old and from a litter of 6 puppies.
My fiancé and I drove 2 hours to New Port Richey to get her. She was the last female pup in the litter. It turns out someone else was going to come get her the day before but they never showed up... I figured it must have been meant to be.
If you're wondering, Hera is still here apart of the L&P family, she lives at my parents house and needs extra care, as her back legs give out and she often uses wheels to get around. But I still love Hera the same, she is still my sweet pup after Lydia had passed.
I am also happy to say we will all be going to Pugsgiving this November! I can't wait for Sprinkles to meet her other pug family!

It's mid-June already and we are already half way through the year! It's hard to believe. Lots of wonderful new things have been happening at Lydia & Pugs lately! Really really exciting things in fact! I will be sharing with you the news soon in the next few weeks.

art prints are here! I've been working on some new designs for the spring. Some of the prints you might recongize from some of your favorite
greeting cards, including the hot air balloon collection and the traveling pugs collection.
I have also added some of my favorite new prints that are truly witty and whimsical! Introducing the
Talls Collection,
Smalls Collection and
Pug Collection prints. All prints come in two sizes: 5x7 print or 8x10 print. Each print has dog breeds that are either small in stature, tall in stature or part-pug...hence the pug collection.

Autumn is here and our Halloween and Thanksgiving paper goods are too! I had so much fun making the new designs and I can't wait til the cooler weather comes with it!

I got to take some good photos of Sprinkles playing outside this weekend with my canon camera. She is sometimes hard to get a good picture of since she is always on the go. But I managed to get a few good ones. I also had some help from my fiancé for some profile photos of the two of us. So I updated my instagram profile pic...it's truly adorable with Sprinkles!
Sprinkles and I also made it out to the Orlando Anthropologie Sit Stay Love event on Saturday! It was really a lot of fun to take her there and see all the people and dogs up for adoption. It amazes me how peoples face changes so quickly when they see a puppy or a dog...it's really the best feeling! We donated some toys to the donation drive and we even got our photo taken at the Anthro photo booth area. And of course they had an adorable spread of goodies for everyone. All of the dog merchandise was located at the front of store, so it was awesome to see the Lydia & Pugs cards, dog calendar and notepads! Below are some photos from the event.
